ACADEMICIAN PROGRAMME
The Professional Metro Technical Advanced Skills for Academicians is structured to provide the learning institutions’ teaching fraternity the necessary skills and knowledge on urban rail systems operational up to certification level. Upon successful completion, participants will be awarded with a dual certification by DSD and PACE. This would in turn enable learning institutions to upgrade their program offering under rail industry sector TVET to meet the demands of urban rail industry locally and internationally.
URBAN RAIL ROLLING STOCK SYSTEM AND SUBSYSTEM MAINTENANCE
ROLLING STOCK: BOGIE MAINTENANCE
Programme Objective:
- The course aims to develop participants’ knowledge and skills of urban rail Rolling Stock system, subsystems and equipment.
- Participants will get an exclusive arrangement to be attached at the respective workshop depots to gain an in-depth actual experience on the Rolling Stock engineering principles and maintenance regime according to the NOSS requirement.

ROLLING STOCK: PROPULSION SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
Programme Objective:
- The course aims to develop participants’ knowledge and skills of urban rail Rolling Stock system, subsystems and equipment.
- Participants will get an exclusive arrangement to be attached at the respective workshop depots to gain an in-depth actual experience on the Rolling Stock engineering principles and maintenance regime according to the NOSS requirement.
