About PBA
Prasarana Bus Academy (PBA), initially established as a training department of Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd, has expanded its operations and functions to be a skills development centre for the overall Rapid Bus personnel. Over the years, the Academy has progressed into developing in-house training modules, content, and training facilities. This has allowed to gain PBA formal recognition as an accredited centre by Malaysia Department of Skills Development (DSD). PBA has also been accredited by Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) as a certified training provider.
Prasarana Bus Academy (PBA) has state-of-the-art training facilities in Rapid KL, Rapid Penang, and Rapid Kuantan. PBA is also supported by a solution-driven team that is committed to build a sustainable workforce as well as to prepare scholars for a successful career.
The continuous success of PACE has created many opportunities for PBA to make these facilities available to the public, especially to bus captains of other operators who can enrol into its training programme.

PBA has been recognized by Department of Skills Development, Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia (MOHR) as a full-fledged Accreditation Centre to conduct skills training programme under Malaysia Skills Certification based on the National Occupational Skills Standard. With this recognition, PBA is moving in line with the long-term focus on obtaining higher learning institution levels.
